PMG expresses its heart felt grief in the tragic loss of one of our founding
members Vincent McKinley Black. Vince, as he was known by many, officially became one of 5 founding members
of Platinum Music Group (PMG) in August of 2003. Vince first entered the company from the production side, People
Harnessing Artistic Talents From A-Z Entertainment (PHAT A-Z Ent.) where he began recording as an aspiring rapper.
Being a recording artist just wasn't good enough as Vince wanted so much more. It was then when Vince began negotiating
with PHAT A-Z Entertainment asking for an opportunity to "show his stuff." For those who know Vince, know
that he did not falter. He displayed his talent time and time again. It became apparent that Vince would be a
valuable asset to the organization. The members of PHAT and Vince came together and formed a partnership that is now
known as the Platinum Music Group (PMG). At PMG he served as a CEO and Director of Radio Promotions.
Vince hit the ground running matching the intensity of any company accomplishments.
His ambitious style brought forth a relentlace effort to assist in making PMG a success. He was always on the prowl!
Vince had big hopes and dreams for his family (particularly his son) and the future of PMG. We personally thank
the Black family for allowing him to be a part of us.
Vince, PMG LOVE, THANK and will sincerely MISS you. Your dream
will be kept alive and "THAT'S WHAT'S UP!" Always Love, Big "L", Natural, Tye, Shirley, Max, Mr. Janey and Moe.
